Why and how to prune your roses? Learn with the gardeners of the Roseraie on Saturday, February 27 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Rosebushes should normally be pruned after flowering, but recommendations differ if your bushes produce flowers all season long or are not reblooming.
To put you well and truly in the picture, the Roseraie du Val-de-Marne invites you to spend a day devoted to rosebush pruning. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday 27 February, the conservatory’s specialists will be on hand to welcome the public and impart their invaluable advice.
After describing the various types of rosebushes, Aurélien and Jean-Michel will present the pruning methods best suited to each of them. This theoretical overview will be accompanied by demonstrations. To round off the day, visitors will be encouraged to put the advice they received into practice…
So, rendezvous on 27 February – and don’t forget your secateurs!
